Your child is becoming American faster than you are. That gap is ordinary, and it still aches — in the language at the dinner table, the grandmother on the phone, the small daily negotiations no one prepared you for.

This is parenting support, not a verdict on your parenting — six weeks of building a home with two doors instead of choosing one.

We talk honestly about the translator child, the two rulebooks colliding in your kitchen, and what children absorb from what we don’t say — and we do it together, in the language that fits your family.

The six weeks

From the speed difference to a home with two doors.

Week
1

The speed difference

Your child is assimilating faster than you are. That gap is normal, and it hurts.
Practice
Naming what you’ve each lost and gained.
Week
2

The language question

Ukrainian at home or not. The guilt either way. The grandmother on the phone.
Practice
Deciding on purpose rather than by exhaustion.
Week
3

Two rulebooks

Respect, discipline, independence, achievement — American norms and yours, colliding in your kitchen.
Practice
Where do you bend? Where won’t you?
Week
4

The translator child

When your kid handles the doctor, the school, the landlord — and what that costs them.
Practice
What can you take back off their shoulders?
Week
5

What they carry from us

Children absorb what we don’t say — including worry, and the phone calls at night.
Practice
What do they know that you didn’t tell them?
Week
6

A home with two doors

Not choosing. Building something that holds both.
Practice
Yours to keep.
How payment works
$65 per person, per session
Paid in full at enrollment

Groups run out-of-network and privately. Paying in full at enrollment holds your place for the whole series — and lets the group form as a stable, closed circle: the same people, from beginning to end.

Refunds

A full refund if you withdraw before the first session. In the first two weeks, a prorated refund or a credit toward a future group. Once the group has formed, the remaining sessions aren’t refundable — the circle was built around your place in it — but if something serious comes up, talk to me and we’ll find a fair way through.

Superbill

A superbill is available for possible partial reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Whether a group qualifies depends on its nature, so it’s best to check with your insurance company.

Reserve your spot

Seats are limited to keep the group small and safe. Reach out — we’ll find out together whether this is the right next step for you, and there’s no pressure either way.
