For when your mind won’t rest and your body won’t settle.
Anxiety isn’t a flaw in your character. It’s a body doing its job at the wrong time — and it can be taught to settle.
Somewhere along the way your nervous system learned to stay switched on — scanning, bracing, ready for a threat that mostly isn’t coming. So the mind races, sleep won’t come, the chest stays tight, and the smallest things feel like emergencies. You can know, rationally, that you’re safe, and still not be able to convince your body of it.
This is a small group for adults living with anxiety — not a lecture on positive thinking, but real, body-based work on the system underneath it. You’ll come to understand what anxiety actually is, learn concrete ways to bring an over-fired nervous system back down, and — gently — meet the anxious part of you with curiosity instead of war, to understand what it’s been trying to protect you from all this time. A short private conversation comes first, so we can make sure it’s the right fit for where you are now.
Over six evenings, among a few others who know the feeling, we move through it in order.
Six sessions, ninety minutes each, in a small closed group that stays the same throughout. Held in English, Ukrainian, or Russian.
Because it’s steady, personal work, it begins with a short private conversation before it starts — so we can make sure it’s the right fit, and that a group (rather than individual work) is the right form for what you’re carrying.
Groups run out-of-network and privately. Paying in full at enrollment holds your place for the whole series — and lets the group form as a stable, closed circle: the same people, from beginning to end.
A full refund if you withdraw before the first session. In the first two weeks, a prorated refund or a credit toward a future group. Once the group has formed, the remaining sessions aren’t refundable — the circle was built around your place in it — but if something serious comes up, talk to me and we’ll find a fair way through.
A superbill is available for possible partial reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Whether a group qualifies depends on its nature, so it’s best to check with your insurance company.
If your mind won’t rest and your body won’t settle — if you’re tired of white-knuckling through days that look fine from the outside — this is for you. Reach out, and we’ll find out together whether this is the right next step.
